How I Got Here
I started in real estate first. Acquiring properties, learning operations the hard way, and quickly realizing that the software landlords were expected to use was either overpriced, over-engineered, or both. That frustration is what built My Rental Spot.
I taught myself development out of necessity. The product I wanted to build didn't exist, and I wasn't going to wait for someone else to build it. Today MRS is a full-stack Laravel platform with 600+ users, a growing feature set, and a roadmap that includes mobile, AI, and syndication infrastructure.

Running Bay Area Installers alongside software work keeps me grounded in physical operations. Commercial construction is unforgiving — timelines, budgets, and client expectations have to be managed precisely. Those same instincts carry directly into how I run product teams and acquisitions.
The real estate portfolio includes a San Francisco apartment complex, Forest Glen Mobile Park in Boulder Creek CA, Harbor Vista Mobile Park in Glenhaven CA, and SFH/multifamily holdings across Ohio and California. Every acquisition is underwritten the same way: cash flow first, value-add upside second, and operational simplicity always.
